Two-factor authentication, seamless offboarding requests flow and bulk time-off upload capability

We're excited to bring you enhancements and upgrades on Skuad’s platform. Read on to discover what’s new!

1. Enabling Two Factor Authentication (2FA)

2FA has now been enabled in the Skuad Pay Platform. Whether you are signing up for the first time, signing in with your password or signing in with Google, you'll be prompted to enter a 6-digit secure code using any of the available authentication methods. The available authentication methods are: 

1. Authentication apps ( such as Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator or Authy)
2. Mobile number
3. Email (This method is not available if you are logging into the Skuad portal via Google sign-in. If you are logging in using your ID and password, this will be enabled by default)

The impact2FA increases security while using a Skuad account. It adds an extra layer of protection to make sure that only the owner has access to their data and transfers.

‍💡 Note: If you are already logged into the Skuad portal, you should see a banner on your dashboard prompting you to set up your preferred authentication method. We encourage you to set this up as soon as possible. This will ensure that the next time you log in, your preferred authentication method is known to us thereby reducing any friction in your login process.

2. Updated Offboarding Request Flow

Offboarding requests automatically create a ‘Help Request’ ticket categorized as off-boarding. This streamlines the offboarding process and ensures seamless support from all concerned teams.The impactStay on top of every step in the offboarding journey. Our automated system ensures you never miss an update on offboarding your talent, ensuring increased responsiveness and a smooth transition for your departing employees.

3. Bulk Time Off Upload

You can now add time-off entries in bulk. The new ‘Add Bulk Time-Off’ button is at the top right of the ‘Time-Off’ tab.The impactThis feature simplifies managing time off for multiple team members, saving you time and effort of individual entries.
