1. Time-Keeping and Task Upload Enhancements
Seamless clock in and clock out: For employees and contractors, a new clock in and clock out feature is now enabled that allows tracking time easily. This feature allows users to instantly record working hours which in turn streamlines attendance management.
Auto detection of shift timings: For employees who have defined regular work hours and overtime hours, time entry in the Calendar view is more seamless now. We have removed the type selection while entering hours. Our system automatically detects and logs time entries based on the start time, end time and regular working hours.
Bulk tasks upload: For clients we have introduced a new section called Bulk Tasks to view the progress of “New Hires added via the Bulk add” feature. This provides transparency and sets expectations around the expected end time for large bulk requests.
2. Simplifying Time Tracking for Contractors
- Hourly View for Quick Entries: Log hours effortlessly without requiring task-level granularity. Simply input the number of hours worked against a client.
- Weekly and Pay Period Views: Switch seamlessly between weekly and pay period summaries to track your logged hours and submit timesheets for approval.
- Streamlined Time Logging: Mark activities as “billable” with a single click.
- Enhanced Validation: Ensure accuracy with built-in checks for required fields, valid hours, and submission readiness.
Why You’ll Love It
- Faster Logging: No need to select unnecessary details, such as tasks, for every entry.
- Enhanced Visualization: Logged hours are clearly displayed in a user-friendly weekly/pay period grid.
- Effortless Adjustments: Edit and resubmit timesheets directly from the hourly view.
- Consistency Across Views: Updates made in the hourly view reflect seamlessly in the calendar view.
